Role Overview:

The Jr. Analyst, People Data (Animation) will support Netflix Animation Studios’ global talent team by supporting Global Talent initiatives centered on people analytics and data integrity/quality control for Talent Acquisition, Artist Management, and Talent Development.

Reporting to the Talent Development & Ops Manager, this role will partner with Talent Acquisition and Artist Management to focus on Data Quality Control (QC) and integrated systems, Airtable & Talent systems support, building and maintaining crew databases, talent data workflows, and collaboration.

The ideal candidate has a passion for Animation, an analytical and operational mindset, while partnering with a dynamic/ever-growing team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical, as well as impeccable attention to detail, for effectively managing internal data and optimizing workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

    Data Quality Control and Integrated Systems
  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity across interconnected systems and operating tools, focusing on rigorous data quality control (QC) practices for clean and reliable data.
    Tools Management and Product Support/Discovery
  • Act as a junior product manager for Airtable, supporting technical needs, and enhancements to meet team objectives.
  • Build and maintain the crew database for internal talent movement, housing detailed information on specific skill sets, capabilities, and portfolios to optimize the recasting process and potential placements.
  • Produce reports on project needs and actualized crew assignments for effective production planning on behalf of Talent.
  • Support with discovery of new tools to optimize current workflows and tools.
    Talent Workflows and Notifications
  • Design, build, and test solutions to streamline and optimize talent workflows, considering international complexities, multi-system environments, and administrative demands.
  • Implement and refine notification systems to enhance communication and efficiency within talent operations.
    Communication and Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Communicate complex data insights effectively through excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decisions and data requirements, fostering an environment of growth and adaptability within a dynamic team setting.
    Qualifications:
  • Data Management and Analysis:
  • Experience with data quality control, data management, and ensuring accuracy across multiple systems.
  • Proficiency in working with complex data sets to solve analytical problems.
  • Product Management:
  • Basic experience or exposure to product management principles, particularly in managing and enhancing workflow tools like Airtable.
  • Experience working with a team in an Agile/SCRUM environment
  • Industry Knowledge (Preferred):
  • Passion for and understanding of the Animation or Entertainment industry, particularly within talent acquisition, management, and development contexts.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex data insights for a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Problem-Solving:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle non-routine analysis issues.
  • Ability to design and implement process solutions for streamlining workflows.

  • Educational Background: A degree in a relevant field such as Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline is preferred but not required.

This role is based in the US.

At NAS, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine your compensation. We rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, location, skills, and experience. The overall market range for this role is typically $79k - 133k. This reflects total compensation; we do not have stock options.
