Description of WorkAre you ready to take the next step in your career?Discover why NCDIT is the ideal destination for your professional growth - .We currently have an opening for a Systems Administrator IIThe position is designated Statutory Exempt and is exempt from the State Human Resources Act.The primary purpose of the Systems Administrator II is to serve as a ServiceNow Platform administrator, implementing and maintaining a secure and efficient platform configuration for NCDOT.Duties include, but are not limited, to:
- Responsible for day-to-day operations of support and maintenance, user & access management, incident & problem management, service catalog management, automation & orchestration, reporting & analytics, integration & API management, upgrade & patch management, security & maintenance, and performance optimization
- Responsible for administering cloud SaaS-built solutions that support the business functions of NCDOT
- Daily Tier 3 end-user support will also be an essential function of this position
- Demonstrated knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of computers and related peripheral equipment and information technology
- Demonstrated knowledge of the various systems software and layered products and the specifics of the configuration within the user environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of the applications and uses of the system to provide advice in applications development or to troubleshoot applications or networking problems to identify system software solutions
- Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and methods used in obtaining maximum utilization of computing equipment
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
