We want someone who believes in our mission.As our Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud Architect, you lead the design and delivery of scalable, enterprise-grade digital commerce solutions on the Salesforce platform. In this role, you'll serve as the technical authority across all phases of architecture, development, and integration for Salesforce B2B Commerce (formerly CloudCraze), ensuring alignment with both business strategy and technology best practices.You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams-including product managers, developers, and enterprise architects-to create seamless and integrated digital buying experiences tailored to B2B operations.Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical lead for all Salesforce B2B Commerce architecture and design decisions
- Define and maintain the enterprise architecture blueprint for digital commerce solutions on Salesforce
- Architect and implement scalable B2B Commerce Cloud solutions with a focus on performance, maintainability, and long-term growth
- Translate complex business needs into clear and efficient architectural solutions
- Lead the evaluation and selection of third-party solutions, integrations, and middleware tools
- Oversee and guide development efforts, ensuring alignment with architecture, data models, and governance standards
- Collaborate with Salesforce COEs, internal technical teams, and external vendors for solution alignment
- Ensure proper integration with CRM, ERP, pricing engines, payment systems, and logistics platforms
- Establish standards for coding, performance tuning, data quality, and security across the Salesforce environment
- Participate in technical planning, solution reviews, and design workshops with stakeholders and customers
- Provide guidance on Salesforce releases, roadmap alignment, and future-state architecture
- Mentor development teams and support training efforts related to platform best practices
- Conduct impact assessments for new business requirements, ensuring forward compatibility and scalability
- Support DevOps strategies, including CI/CD pipelines and environment management
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Salesforce experience, with 3-4+ years focused on Salesforce B2B Commerce (CloudCraze)
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, governor limits, and integration strategies
- Experience designing and deploying large-scale B2B commerce implementations in complex enterprise environments
- Proficient in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and platform development frameworks
- Solid experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP), middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), and enterprise data flows
- Proven success leading cross-functional architecture efforts and multi-system integrations
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform security, sharing rules, authentication models, and performance tuning
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications required
- Salesforce B2B Commerce Architect or Application Architect certification strongly preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Familiarity with order lifecycle management, pricing complexity, and entitlement models
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (Gearset, Copado, Jenkins) and version control (Git)
- Previous consulting experience or working in client-facing environments
- Background in B2B industry verticals such as manufacturing, distribution, or life sciences is a plus

- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
