Job Posting SummaryBaptist MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Tumor Registry Supervisor to join our remote team. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tumor Registry Supervisor to lead our cancer data management operations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the identification, registration, abstraction, maintenance, and analysis of all cancer cases utilizing a tumor registry database. The ideal candidate will supervise a team of Certified Tumor Registrars (CTRs), ensure compliance with state and national reporting standards, and serve as a knowledgeable resource to team members and healthcare professionals.This is a fully remote position. Applicants must reside in one of the following states to be eligible:

AL, FL, GA, ID, IN, KY, LA, MI, NC, OH, OK, OR, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WV, WY.As an Oncology Data Specialist, your responsibilities include:Supervise the daily operations of the tumor registry team, including scheduling, performance management, and professional development.Ensure accurate and timely cancer case identification, data abstraction, and data entry in accordance with national and state guidelines (e.g., SEER, NAACCR, CoC).Review and validate data for completeness, consistency, and compliance with cancer registry standards.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tumor registry software and regulatory changes affecting cancer reporting.Collaborate with clinical departments, oncologists, and hospital administrators to gather and analyze cancer patient data.Prepare statistical reports, data summaries, and annual cancer registry reports for internal and external stakeholders.Lead accreditation efforts including CoC survey preparation and other quality assurance initiatives.Serve as the primary point of contact for questions related to cancer data collection and reporting.If you are interested in this full-time, Tumor Registry Supervisor role, apply today!Full/Part TimeFull-TimeShift DetailsDaysEducation RequiredHigh School Diploma/GEDEducation PreferredBachelor's DegreeExperience
