Assistant Site Manager

As a tenured firm in the industry, they are looking to continue their success and build their team with ambitious talent. They have around 450 employees who are gaining valuable experience every day.Seeking an Assistant Site Manager to be responsible for the following:


  • Ensure the project is in compliance with federal and state safety regulations, the site-specific safety plan and client requirements through leadership of Superintendents, administrators, on-site Safety Coordinators, and project team.

  • Review and fully understand all contract documents.

  • Review and contribute to construction documents (plans, specs, etc.) for completeness and constructability.

  • Work with Project Manager and Superintendents to plan and prep for mobilization/demobilization from project site.

  • Provide assistance to Superintendents while adhering to contract specifications and Company policies.

  • Support scheduling of equipment, materials, tools and crews to efficiently utilize resources.

  • Responsible for controlling job costs and informing project manager of potential over-runs.

  • Maintain productive and efficient crews, ensure best practices are communicated and enforced, and assigned scopes are technically and quality compliant striving towards superior project execution.

  • Ensure proper implementation and assist with application of the project QA/QC.

  • 1-3 years of Site Management experience for renewable energy projects across solar, storage and wind.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Environmental Science or related field

  • Impressive track record and experience in development of renewable energy projects

  • Previous applicable experience working in a commercial negotiation environment

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, multi-task, make decisions, prioritize, and meet assigned deadlines in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills - able to work and communicate effectively with a cross-functional internal team, vendors, consultants, various project stakeholders, authorities having legal control, utilities, state agencies etc.

  • Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position.

Our client is an IPP that focus on utility scale solar, storage and wind projects. They cover projects nationwide throughout WECC, CAISO, SPP, MISO, ERCOT, PJM, NYISO and ISO-New England.
