NDT Quality Test Spec (NDT Quality Test Specialist-General) Company: Boeing Aerospace Operations Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate NDT Quality Test Specialist to support our business in San Antonio, TX. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: •General knowledge of multiple NDT methods on aircraft and related components in Magnetic Particle, Penetrant, Eddy Current, Ultrasound, and Radiography • Analyzes routine data. • Assists with standard corrective action recommendations. Documents and communicates standard test, analysis or measurement results to customers through entries in quality records and/or test reports. •Performs setup of routine test or measurement equipment. Performs routine tests. Assists in the documentation of procedures and technique sheets for setting up test equipment. •Performs setup of test or measurement equipment to controlled standards. Assists in the documentation of procedures for test equipment setup.• BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.• Recent NDI certification in Ultrasonic, Eddy Current, Capable of working a variable shift 5 +years’ experience in NDT "Failure to attain or maintain required certifications may result in termination of employment." PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): Recent NDI certification in Magnetic Particle Recent NDI certification in Penetrant Experience working with regulatory agencies (DCMA, FAA, and/or Military) Ability to obtain a Yankee White U.S. Security Clearance post-start Strong understanding of NDT principles and techniques. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong ethical standards with a desire to maintain a high level of quality. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
