About the position
The Imaging Analyst PACS Admin position at Trinity Health is a full-time remote role focused on the technical administration of digital imaging information systems and technologies. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide day-to-day support for users of these systems, ensuring their effective operation and maintenance. The Imaging Analyst will support various applications including CPACS, RPACS, and third-party systems such as Laurel Bridge, Terarecon, Powerscribe, MIM, and Muse. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of imaging technologies across multiple departments, including Radiology, Cardiology, Surgery, and Endoscopy. In this position, the Imaging Analyst will participate in projects related to imaging information systems and may occasionally lead small-scale projects. The role demands a strong track record in technical problem identification and resolution, with the ability to execute solutions with minimal oversight. Excellent customer service skills are essential, as the analyst will interact with both internal and external customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction. Key functions include performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of hardware and software systems, conducting quality assurance and performance verification, and providing structured training to end-users. The analyst will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement, developing documentation, and communicating new procedures to enhance the use of digital imaging systems. Additionally, the role involves after-hours on-call support for critical system issues and maintaining compliance with imaging department policies and procedures. The Imaging Analyst will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including radiologists, technologists, and system vendors, to foster a positive work environment and ensure the optimal functioning of imaging technologies. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying technical and operational risks and implementing solutions to mitigate these risks. Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day technical support of digital imaging information systems and technologies.

Assume responsibility for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of hardware and software systems.

Perform quality assurance, performance verification, and preventative maintenance procedures according to program standards.

Execute complex system administrative functions such as system table builds, patient and exam merges, and system performance monitoring.

Schedule and conduct structured and ad hoc training for end-users with moderate oversight.

Identify problems and opportunities for improvement, developing documentation and communicating new procedures.

Maintain understanding of imaging department policies and compliance requirements while providing support.

Initiate remedial and system development actions with vendors as needed.

Provide after-hours on-call support for critical system issues.

Communicate effectively with end users regarding the status of system issue resolution.
Requirements
Associate's degree in computer sciences, medical imaging, or equivalent experience in a healthcare technical support role.

Thorough understanding of digital imaging information systems and their utilization in hospital operations.

Comprehensive knowledge of imaging departmental processes and various imaging modalities.

In-depth knowledge of computer networking fundamentals.

Proven track record of excellent customer service skills in a technical support role.
