The Adjuster is also responsible for, but not limited to: <br><ul><li>Handling large and catastrophic losses</li><li>Analyzing construction and other contracts</li><li>Analyzing policies of insurance</li><li>Addressing risk transfer strategies and priority of coverage</li><li>Proactive approach towards negotiating claims towards resolution</li><li>Investigating losses and identifying coverage issues</li><li>Analyzing coverage and identifying covered and uncovered claims</li><li>Assigning panel counsel to defend our insured(s)</li><li>Working with counsel to develop litigation plan to resolve underlying claim</li><li>Obtaining and reviewing evidence, reports, and medical records</li><li>Establishing indemnity and expense reserves</li><li>Processing payments</li><li>Taking statements from insured's, claimants, and witnesses</li></ul><br><br><strong>Qualifications</strong><br><br><ul><li>At least 10 years of prior experience adjusting CGL and BOP liability claims </li><li>Bachelor's degree, Attorney license a plus</li><li>Able to understand coverage</li><li>Ability to analyze policies of insurance and relevant contracts to address priority of coverage and explore risk transfer strategies</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Strong organizational and computer skills</li><li>Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize</li><li>Able to occasionally travel to hearings, mediations, trials, and conferences </li></ul><br><strong>Salary Range</strong><br><br>$60,000.00-$145,000.00 USD <br><br>The successful candidate is expected to work in one of our offices 3 days per week and also be available for travel as required.<br><br>The annual base salary range posted represents a broad range of salaries around the U.S. and is subject to many factors including but not limited to credentials, education, experience, geographic location, job responsibilities, performance, skills and/or training.
