Responsibilities
Perform technical evaluation of applications for air pollution control permits and registrations.

Draft air pollution control permits and registrations using applicable regulations.

Conduct field inspections at regulated facilities to determine compliance with regulations and permit conditions.

Investigate air quality complaints reported by the public.

Prepare written reports and recommendations of compliance status for supervisor review.

Assist staff and the Office of General Counsel in air enforcement cases.

Manage files, including electronic files and FOIL requests.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, biology, or engineering.

1 year of qualifying experience for Trainee 2 or 2 years for EPS 1.

Valid driver's license.
