Role Overview:
As a Relationship Development Associate, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our client advisors by managing outreach, building relationships, and converting prospects into scheduled appointments. Working directly with potential clients on behalf of our advisors, you’ll focus on creating meaningful connections, qualifying prospects, and ensuring that every interaction aligns with the high standards of our partner firms.
Responsibilities:
Engage Warm Prospects: Conduct outreach to leads who have engaged with educational content, positioning yourself as the first point of contact to introduce them to the advisor and their firm.
Relationship Building: Establish trust and rapport with prospects through friendly, professional, and consistent communication, serving as a concierge to guide them through the next steps.
Needs Discovery and Qualification: Conduct conversations to understand the prospect’s financial goals, pain points, and readiness, ensuring they are a good fit for the advisor’s services.
Appointment Coordination: Schedule qualified prospects for personalized consultations with advisors, ensuring clear communication and seamless calendar management.
Educate and Warm Leads: Provide prospects with additional information about the advisor’s expertise, services, and value proposition to further build trust and engagement ahead of their consultation.
Performance Optimization: Track and document outreach efforts and conversations in CRM tools, analyze performance data, and share feedback to refine outreach and appointment-setting strategies.
Requirements:
Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a professional tone and the capacity to engage prospects confidently and effectively.
Professionalism and Rapport-Building: A polished, client-focused approach with the ability to establish trust and rapport with prospects, ensuring a positive first impression of the advisor’s firm.
Quick Learner: Ability to quickly grasp financial industry concepts, terminology, and the value of advisory services to effectively engage and qualify prospects.
Strong Organization and Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple leads, follow-up tasks, and scheduling responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Self-Motivation and Discipline: A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently, stay focused, and consistently meet goals in a remote environment.
Experience Preferred: Prior experience in appointment setting, sales, or client engagement, ideally in the financial services industry, is a strong plus but not required.
