Your success will come from maintaining relationships with existing customers, prospecting new customers, and executing sales strategies with passion and perseverance. This is a remote work opportunity with qualified candidates being located in either Mississippi or Louisiana.Your Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell Schaeffler brand products to the Industrial Aftermarket through authorized distributor channels.
- Develop and implement territory sales growth strategies and projects to grow long term market share.
- Develop ongoing relationships and rapport at both distributor and end user to influence Schaeffler brand choice and preference.
- Provide application assistance through product knowledge and connecting customers with Schaeffler engineering group service and support.
- Provide product training to both distributor and end user customers in the region.
- Effectively communicate projects, customer issues and ensures Schaeffler has a clear understanding of customer needs and expectations.
- Use Salesforce to document account activity and territory opportunities.
- Meet and exceed annual sales goals and budget.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of four (4) years sales and business development experience selling through Industrial Distributors, or in similar industries (i.e. Fluid Power, Fluid Sealing, Pumps, Motors, Couplings, Bearings)
- Possess strong mechanical aptitude
- High energy, self-motivated, self-learner and goal oriented
- Excellent planning skills to effectively manage priorities, time and travel
- Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- Strong Computer Skills - IE. Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce
- Availability for overnight travel approximately 35% of the time
- External applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment visa or other sponsorship
