Growing together.The Sr Digital Product Manager will directly support the Find & Compare Care strategy & roadmap within the UHC Consumer Product Office. As a member of the team, this individual will contribute to achieving our vision to be the consumer resource of choice to find personalized and relevant care by intuitively guiding consumers to the best care based on cost, quality, compatibility, and convenience. Specifically, this position will be responsible for the creation and refinement of strategic and operational business requirements to facilitate development of new capabilities as well as identify and facilitate opportunities to improve our products and experience performance.This role will focus on the consumer experience and related solutions to Find & Compare Care across all UnitedHealthcare lines of business and relevant Optum Health needs. Expect to interface closely in a matrixed environment, including cross functional lines of business (UHC, Optum businesses, etc.) and teams (Technology, Operations, Design, Usability etc.)You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:
  • Partners with Enterprise stakeholders to achieve aligned consumer experience and business objectives
  • Drive requirements and feature definition for new capabilities within the Find & Compare Care journey
  • Articulates and executes an iterative approach to delivering integration for a business line
  • Challenges current thinking - strikes a balance between innovation and feasibility, usability, and scalability
  • Work with engineering, agile practitioner and agile teams from initiation through execution
  • Identifies potential risks with product builds and integrations, pro-actively developing mitigation plans; Assists in removing obstacles, resolves conflicts and ensures alignment with stakeholders
  • Accurately translates technical terms and concepts to non-technical stakeholders; Effectively represents technical challenges and opportunities to external and internal stakeholders; Leverages insights to adjust timelines and resource allocation
  • Understands and advocates for the Find & Compare Care journey product suite with Technical, Business, Operations, Financial and Executive stakeholders, as applicable
  • Effectively collaborates with Design, Usability, Engineering, Architecture, Consumer research and Analytics
  • Holds self-accountable for meeting high performance standards that drive key measurable results
  • Defines and tracks key performance indications (KPIs) to measure the success of our digital product, iterating based on data-driven insights
  • Initiates market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product differentiation
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

  • 3+ years digital experience aligned with consumer facing product and experience delivery within Healthcare, Retail or Insurance industry
  • Experience and deep understanding of Agile methodology, team structure and product management best practices
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed, and dynamic environment; ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word etc.); specifically heavy PowerPoint and Excel
  • Proven impactful communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Proven pronounced strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in search engine digital products
  • Understands and applies methodology for determining product/solution sizing
  • Understands enterprise level and LOB strategies
  • Proven ability to advocate position and has tenacity to drive to objectives

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
