Job description: Job Description:Job Title: Senior Golang DeveloperWork LocationBurbank CAWork Mode: RemoteJob Description:We are seeking a Senior Golang Developer who will help drive our systems evolution to join our team The role will be an integral part of the Video Streaming and Engineering team working with video tech engineers to build and release products involved in Video Playback Services The candidate will also be responsible for doing minimal building deploying and managing video Playback services in cloud GCP/AWSYour Day-to-dayWork with other engineers to maintain and evolve our video partner delivery platformWork with the team on building out cloud based microservices to support Video Playback workflowsHelp build out the services dealing with HLS DASH manifest and manifest manipulationField questions and requests from site publishers regarding video playbackWork with other developers and Operations team on streamlining CICD solutionEncourage an engineering culture that promotes test-driven development and code coverageAdditional other duties and responsibilities as assignedKey ProjectsEnhancements to Video Playback API DRM protection API and building new features around User entitlements and HLSDASH manifest manipulationCollaborate with team on feature requests and improvement around video delivery solutionsWork with the development team on a central logging and monitoring solution like New Relic Datadog etcAsset Ingestion workflow improvements and debugging jobs and workflowsWork with development teams on re architecture modernizing existing systems into the cloudQualificationsWhat you bring to the teamYou have:5 years of experience as a Software Engineer3 years of experience using Golang and building services in GolangBS degree in Computer Science similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experienceExperienced in developing and maintaining cloudbased video workflowsExperience working with CloudSaaS services such as Amazon AWS Google CloudExperience in programming languages such as GoLangPHPExperience in building APIs in Golang and database technologies like MySQL PostgresExperience in using Docker Kubernetes CICD systems like Github Actions ArgoExperience with Object Oriented languages JSON XMLStrong written verbal and interpersonal communication skillsYou might also haveKnowledge of HLSDASH streaming media standards and DRM technologies like Fairplay Playready WidevineExperience with AVC HEVC VP9 AV1 AAC video and audio codec standardsExperience with video broadcasting and streaming media standardsSkills:Mandatory Skills : Golang,Microservices,AWS Lambda,AWS RDS,AWS S3,AWS API Gateway,SQS,SNS,Aws Step Functions,Docker,Dynamo DBAbout Company:LTIMindtree is a global technology consulting and digital solutions company that enables enterprises across industries to reimagine business models, accelerate innovation, and maximize growth by harnessing digital technologies.
