- Provide technical and clinical expertise during ICE-guided procedures in electrophysiology labs and catheterization labs.
- Train and educate physicians, clinical staff, and sales teams on ICE imaging techniques, best practices, and Abbott’s ICE systems (e.g., ViewFlex™ Xtra ICE Catheter).
- Support case coverage, ensuring safe and effective use of ICE products during ablation, left atrial appendage closure (LAAC), mitral valve repair, and other structural heart procedures.
- Partner closely with the sales team to drive adoption of ICE technology in assigned territory or accounts.
- Conduct product demonstrations, in-services, workshops, and physician training at clinical sites and educational events.
- Gather and relay customer feedback to internal marketing, R&D, and product teams to improve product design and positioning.
- Maintain deep clinical knowledge of cardiac anatomy, electrophysiology, structural heart interventions, and echocardiographic imaging.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, quality, and safety guidelines while representing Abbott’s commitment to patient care.
- Associates degree or above: in Nursing, Sonography, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related clinical field; or equivalent clinical experience.
- Advanced knowledge of cardiac echocardiography, including 2D, 3D, Doppler, and intracardiac imaging techniques.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification required.
- Minimum 2+ years of direct experience in cardiovascular, electrophysiology, or structural heart procedures.
- Strong understanding of ICE, TEE, and TTE imaging modalities.
- Ability to analyze complex cardiac anatomy and pathology during live imaging in interventional procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with physicians and clinical teams.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region (including overnight travel as needed).
Expected salary: $75300 - 150700 per year
