Job description: Healthcare Data CoordinatorLocation: Charlotte, NC, United States (100% Remote)Employment Type: Contract through December 31, 2025 (High potential for extension)About the Role:Are you detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about improving healthcare through data quality? We are looking for a Data Validation Analyst to join our Health System Support team. In this role, you will be the front-line liaison between Premier and our member hospitals, ensuring their patient-level data is accurate, complete, and ready for analysis.This is not a data entry or programming role. Instead, you will work closely with hospitals to validate, troubleshoot, and support data submissions using tools like Excel and SQL scripts (no coding required). You'll own the process for a subset of hospitals—acting as the point of contact from initial data review through final acceptance.What You’ll Do:


  • Review and validate incoming patient-level data from hospitals before it enters our internal systems

  • Collaborate directly with hospital partners to identify and correct data quality issues

  • Manage the end-to-end process for your assigned hospitals, ensuring timely and accurate submissions

  • Run pre-defined SQL scripts and analyze outputs for data quality checks (no coding involved)

  • Provide support in reviewing healthcare metrics such as readmissions and mortality data

  • Work within a tight-knit, collaborative team and contribute to continuous process improvements

What We’re Looking For:


  • 2+ years of experience in a data-focused, customer-facing, or healthcare support role

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to learn technical concepts and tools quickly

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel for data review and reporting

  • Comfort with running (but not writing) SQL scripts

  • Background in customer service or support is a plus

  • Experience in healthcare or hospital settings is highly desirable
