To learn more about CSG please visit our website atThis opportunity is based in our Lexington, KY office but offers flexibility to work from home part of the work week.JOB SUMMARYThe Corporate Relations Fellow supports the CSG Development team and department priorities in the critical areas of research, data management, writing and event planning to ensure desired financial outcomes for the organization. This is a nine-month paid, part-time internship position compensated at $15.00 per hour).ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Serve as part of a corporate partnership and fundraising team, assisting with gathering pertinent and relevant information, assist the team with business writing and call follow-ups and development of prospecting letters.

  • Develop an understanding of corporate relationship and process at CSG and the state government affairs interactions with our partners.

  • Attend department meetings and calls with prospective partners and Associates Program members.

  • Conduct research on prospective new partners and qualified internal contacts.

  • Create data-driven dossiers, reports and other materials on qualified new partners for team and executive leadership.

  • Compose and assist with official CSG correspondence, including ongoing membership correspondence and proposals to secure external funding.

  • Assist with database entry with focus on CSG data integrity, hygiene, migration and architecture management.

  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in business, communications, political science or related field required.

  • An interest in understanding the intersection in corporate relations and public policy is preferred.

  • Experience in professional research and customer service preferred.

  • Must possess excellent writing skills & technology skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
