For more information on Duke University Hospital see our web page at .Position Summary: The primary role of this individual is to perform functions related to compliance and operations of Duke University Health System's (DUHS) 340B drug pricing program. Additional roles include performing internal program audits, information technology coordination, vendor account setup and maintenance, and pharmacy team member training. This position will primarily be a day shift position.Specific duties include (but are not limited to):
- Optimize mixed use and retail pharmacy Verity v340B software by reporting to the Director: Pharmacy Business and Revenue Management. Verity v340B activities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Mapping unknown and custom NDCs
- Reviewing multipliers
- Performing WAC split analyses
- Monitoring for appropriate transfer of files from DUHS to Verity software
- Perform audit activities per the DUHS 340B Audit Plan.
- Serve as a project leader for specific 340B program activities.
- Monitor quarterly price changes.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the Verity system and the functions to be performed. Educate others involved in the purchasing process to ensure proper operation and compliance.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the DUHS 340B drug pricing program. Strive to consistently improve the overall efficiency, value, and integrity of the DUHS 340B drug pricing program.
- Develop and foster working relationships with other internal working counterparts at DUHS (IT, finance, compliance, and others) to facilitate productive exchanges of information to improve program efficiency and promote program compliance. Provide data, information, and reports as needed for other business units within DUHS.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
