Job description: An IT services firm based serving over 800 clients nationwide, is seeking an experienced Level 2 IT Support Technician. We’re looking for a tech-savvy professional who can work across diverse technical environments and handle complex troubleshooting. This is a fully remote role, and candidates must have a quiet, dedicated space to work from at home.The ideal candidate will have prior experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or supporting multiple technical environments. Strong customer service skills are essential for success in this role. The company offers a great work environment, career development opportunities, and competitive compensation.Responsibilities:Provide support, administration, and maintenance for desktops, laptops, and light networking issuesConfigure new computer hardware and software (primarily Windows-based)Perform upgrades and configuration of desktops and peripheralsTroubleshoot desktop and server issuesRespond to service calls, resolving issues directly or escalating as neededLog support requests and responses using the Service Desk systemInstall and upgrade softwareAssist in administering a Windows environmentTechnical Requirements:Experience supporting, diagnosing, and troubleshooting PC hardware, software, and network-related issuesStrong knowledge of Windows desktop operating systemsFamiliarity with light networkingExperience with enterprise antivirus softwareActive Directory and Group Policy knowledgeExperience with MS Exchange, Office 365, and hybrid Outlook environmentsPrinter administration experienceOther Requirements:College degree in Computer Science or related degree and/or IT Certifications such A+, Network+ etc.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — you will be representing the companyAbility to clearly document and summarize problems and resolutionsComfortable working with a diverse population, including clients with strong accentsWillingness and ability to learn new tools and technologiesResponsible, reliable, and self-directedAble to prioritize and triage effectivelyExercises good judgment and professionalism in client interactionsDedicated to following issues through to resolutionMust have a quiet, distraction-free home workspace
