Job description: The beautiful, family friendly is seeking a full-time Cook lll to join their team! This 1000+ room property is connected by pedestrian skybridge to Disney Springs® and offers luxury suites and amenities for magical vacations!The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of culinary experience, supporting high-volume operations, with strong food safety knowledge, knife skills, and an understanding of cooking temperatures. This role will support as both a Line Cook lll and a Prep Cook. The candidate should be able to work quickly and accurately, and be a team player. - Prepare, maintain and monitor quality control for hot food items including, but not limited to, meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks and seasonings
- Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
- Prepare guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
- Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen and ensure plates are clean and appetizing
- Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
