As a part of our team, you can work in a diverse and inclusive environment amidst a professional and supportive community.” As a Marketing and Media Services Associate (Internal Assignment/Project Hire) for Disney Cruise Line, you will oversee booking logistics for media initiatives and fulfillment tactics across Disney Signature Experiences (DSE), including Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney, and National Geographic Expeditions. A key focus of this role will be supporting the launch of new ships. In this fast-paced environment, you will manage events and campaigns with many moving parts, acting as the primary point of contact for partner requests and fulfillment on specialized events, with guidance from your manager as needed. Success in this role requires exceptional relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across all marketing divisions within The Walt Disney Company. The Marketing and Media Services Associate (IA/PH) role will report to the Marketing & Media Services Manager and sits in Celebration, FL. This role is an Internal Assignment/Project Hire (IA/PH) that is expected to be approximately 6 months in length; note the timeframe may shift based on business needs. Responsibilities: Collaborate across all marketing areas, including CCDI, Public Relations, Public Affairs, Media Networks, Promotions, Marketing Strategy, Synergy, Special Events, Talent Acquisition, and Corporate Alliances. Coordinate media events across Walt Disney World Resort. Manage stateroom blocks and individual cruise bookings; arrange air travel, hotel accommodations, and both private and standard transportation. Oversee event setup, prize descriptions, and food and beverage details. Lead onboard logistics, including space setups, production needs, media/promotional gifts, SVAM (vendor) requests, invitations, and confirmations using Certain software. Build and maintain relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring alignment with Disney’s service standards. Use strong written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with internal and external partners. Foster partnerships and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams throughout the organization. Troubleshoot and resolve travel issues quickly while providing support and backup to team members. Provide product expertise to marketing and media teams across Disney Signature Experiences (DSE). Contribute actively in team meetings and represent the team in company-wide or external partner meetings. Basic Qualifications: 2+ years of event planning experience, with a preference for interaction with Marketing and Media. Ability to manage multiple events and projects simultaneously while adapting to changing priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills in a professional setting, with excellent organizational and time management abilities. Proven success in building partnerships and collaborating effectively across teams and departments. Proficient in Windows-based applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other relevant technologies. Experienced in handling confidential information and working with a diverse range of internal and external partners. Strong creative problem-solving skills focused on enhancing the guest experience. Exceptional guest service skills with keen attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities. Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Possess a valid passport. Proficient in systems such as Seaware, Certain, Dreams, Lilo, Sureware, Concur, SharePoint, Guest Service Suite, Business Objects, Affairwhere, and SVAM. Extensive experience in event planning, services, and operations within large-scale media, logistics, travel, or themed entertainment settings. Strong understanding of Disney Signature Experiences (DSE) procedures and product offerings. Proven experience collaborating with internal teams across marketing and media functions. Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field or equivalent work experience. Preferred Education: Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field.
