Customer Service Representative- Pacific Time Zone
Our client a MA based company in the health insurance space is looking for upwards of six Customer Service Representatives who live on the west coast to work a Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm fully remote position. The client is open to going either the temp to hire or direct hire route depending on the candidate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support, handling inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience for the client base. This role requires effective communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
The client is looking for someone that has at least one years worth of experience working remote in a call center position. One must have their own dedicated workspace in their residence away from a common area of the household.

- Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service support for health insurance products administered by company
- Acquire and maintain a foundational understanding of insurance principles and the specific health insurance products offered
- Learn and effectively navigate the LuminX claim system
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of customer service protocols and processes
- Consistently meet or exceed established productivity and performance standards
- Deliver accurate, timely responses to customer inquiries via phone and email
- Maintain a strong sense of urgency to ensure calls are answered within established queue standards
- Meet turnaround times and adhere to all relevant deadlines
- Comprehend and interpret documents including training manuals, correspondence, brochures, and procedural guides
- Effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure all voicemail messages are retrieved and returned within 24 hours
- Maintain a positive, courteous, and professional attitude at all times
- Communicate issues, concerns, or updates clearly and promptly to supervisors
- Skills:
- A minimum of one years’ work experience in customer service preferably working in a health insurance setting
- Possess effective communication skills and be patient, resilient and stress tolerant
- Customer-focused with a genuine interest in helping others
- Cooperative and enjoy working with others as part of a team
- Mature, responsible and dependable with focus and attention to detail
- Above average computer proficiency skills with ability to type
- Stable work history
- Excellent phone etiquette skills with the ability to multitask while maintaining integrity and quality of service
