Location: United States or Canada only (100% remote)

Status: Freelance required (must be registered as self-employed or incorporated)

Compensation: 100% commission-based, variable by contract size (capped at 15%)

Higher rates may apply for recurring or large-scale contracts based on performance

Mission Objective

We are seeking a freelance Business Developer based in the United States or Canada to grow our client portfolio across North America.

Your mission: Secure signed contracts ranging from short-term creative engagements to long-term strategic partnerships, supported by structured follow-up and a sustainable client development strategy.

Please note: This is primarily a cold outreach role, involving email campaigns, phone calls, and participation in relevant industry events or conferences. However, a small pool of warm leads is available to support your outreach efforts. You are also encouraged to leverage your personal network where relevant.

    Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage new clients in music, fashion, culture, sustainability, sports, and technology
  • Present the agency’s services and strategic value in a tailored, professional manner
  • Secure signed contracts or qualified meetings based on lead potential
  • Manage the full sales cycle through to closing, with internal validation where required
  • Maintain structured reporting on outreach, leads, and signed deals
    What We Offer
  • 100% commission-based structure (up to 15% per contract)
  • Performance-based bonuses may be offered for high-impact contracts or outstanding results
  • Commission paid in USD or CAD upon invoice and contract signature
  • Higher rates available for exceptional performance and long-term projects
  • Realistic targets: 3–5 short-term contracts/month or 1–2+ long-term engagements
  • Full schedule flexibility; no fixed hours or micromanagement
  • Onboarding session and Slack/email support provided
  • Signed service agreement required (includes non-compete clause)
  • Tools provided: pitch deck, website, portfolio, messaging templates (editable with approval)
  • Public profile on our website and potential to represent the agency at industry events
  • Opportunity to represent a Paris-based creative agency and support our international growth across North America
  • With a 15% commission structure and a target of three signed contracts per month, this role offers an estimated annual earning potential between $54,000 and $162,000 USD, depending on the size and consistency of deals closed.

There is no commission cap — your income scales directly with your performance.

Profile Sought

    We are looking for a motivated, structured, and reliable freelancer with a strong interest in creative industries and business development.
  • Legally registered freelancer in the United States or Canada
  • Background in business, marketing, communication, design, or audiovisual-related fields
  • At least one relevant experience (freelance project, internship, sales role, etc.)
  • Students in final year or recent graduates with relevant experience are welcome
  • Strong written and spoken English (French is a plus)
  • Familiarity with outreach tools such as Apollo.io, HubSpot, Notion, or similar
  • Ability to develop structured outreach strategies and meet monthly goals
  • Professionalism, consistency, and a collaborative mindset are essential
