Regional Sales Director - Eastern Region

Job Summary:

The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for driving sales growth in a defined region by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing clients. The successful candidate will have experience in consultative sales and a deep understanding of the education industry and the needs of educators. This role will involve developing and implementing sales strategies, collaborating with other members of the sales team, and building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Various sales team members in RSD’s region.
    Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develops and implements sales strategies to drive revenue growth in a defined region.
  • Identifies and pursues new business opportunities within the region.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborates with other members of the sales team to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  • Conducts market research and analysis to inform sales strategies and identify potential new opportunities.
  • Provides regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
  • Attends industry events and conferences to represent the company and identify new leads.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, including educators, administrators, and industry partners.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in CTE education.
  • Manages the sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up on leads and opportunities.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
    Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of territory, market, and clients.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in CTE education.
  • Ability to develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing preferred.
  • Seven or more years of experience in consultative sales, preferably in the education industry.
    Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
