About the position

The Delivery Merchandiser - SS Team 1 CDL position at Coca-Cola UNITED involves delivering, stocking, and merchandising products in retail outlets. Responsibilities
• Unload and transport products from the route truck to retail outlets.

• Merchandise and rotate all products inside the outlet to company standards.

• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays.
,
• Communicate any store-level issues to management.
,
• Comply with DOT rules for driving purposes.
,
• Safeguard company assets.
,
• Maintain rapport with customers.
,
• Maintain accurate truck inventory and monetary accountability.
,
• Collect or pick up empty containers or rejected/unsold merchandise.
,
• Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
• Minimum age of 21 years old.
,
• Class A CDL required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy.
,
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies.
,
• Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job.
,
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
,
• Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines.
,
• Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets.
,
• Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology.
,
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must be able to operate a manual or motorized pallet jack.
,
• Must be able to drive a tandem-axle manual shift tractor.
,
• Ability to train all drivers on route responsibilities.
,
• Ability to coach on industry standards and terminologies.
,
• Ability to identify additional sales opportunities.
,
• Frequent standing, walking, vehicle operation and lifting up to 50 lbs.
