Order Builder
About the position
The Order Builder at Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast plays a crucial role in ensuring that customer orders are prepared accurately and efficiently for delivery. - Responsibilities
- Accurately build and stage orders based on pick ticket for loading onto delivery trucks ,
- Manually lift and move product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation ,
- Use appropriate manual or powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) to move product and materials from/to designated locations ,
- Adhere to procedures relating to product age, quality, and safety ,
- Meet productivity requirements ,
- Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support the efficient operation of the warehouse
- Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred ,
- Minimum 6 months of general work experience required ,
- Prior warehouse experience preferred ,
- Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred ,
- Ability to repetitively lift, push and pull 50+ pounds ,
- Ability to reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach ,
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time ,
- Ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance ,
- Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
