About the position
Segal McCambridge, a national litigation firm, is seeking an Associate/Of Counsel Attorney for its litigation group in our New York office. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys looking to practice on their own schedule and have the resources and support of a national firm. The attorney will be responsible for covering depositions and preparing subsequent reporting for a variety of practice areas, with an initial focus on toxic tort defense matters. This position can be fully remote with a full or part-time flexible schedule, but office space is available if desired. The ideal candidate will possess a current, active license to practice law in any United States jurisdiction and have a minimum of 2 years' experience taking depositions and reporting to clients and/or insurance carriers. The role requires the ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines effectively. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills are essential, along with a proven ability to analyze complex legal issues and produce top-quality work. A willingness to be proactive and take ownership of projects and assignments is also crucial. Compensation is competitive, with opportunities for bonuses and credit for business origination.
