Responsibilities of a Transport Driver: The key tasks for a Transport Driver include transporting items to specified locations within a set timeframe: • Operate a vehicle safely to ensure prompt delivery of goods to clients. • Perform the necessary duties of loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting, and driving a delivery vehicle according to assigned schedules and routes. • Efficiently communicate with dispatchers, clients, and superiors. • It is important to ensure that packages reach their destination undamaged and are handed over to the correct individuals. • Offer outstanding customer care, responding to customer questions when required. • Ensure that you follow all company policies, safety measures, and traffic laws when operating a vehicle. Requirements for Transport Driver: • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. • Ability to operate GPS devices and follow driving directions. Must be able to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs. • b time management and organizational skills.
