Location(s): United States of America City/Cities: Atlanta Travel Required: 00% - 25% Relocation Provided: No Job Posting End Date: January 31, 2025 Shift: Job Description Summary: Position Overview: The Coca-Cola’s Summer Internship program is an 8-10 week experience at our headquarters in Atlanta, GA. The Global Policy & Sustainability Intern will be part of our Global Policy & Sustainability team within the Global Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability (PACS) function and be responsible for assisting with projects related to the company’s packaging sustainability initiatives. Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities: • Assist the team in developing and submitting voluntary disclosures related to the company’s plastic packaging, across various reporting platforms, such as the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s Global Commitment. • Lead an assessment of the company’s reporting on plastic packaging and provide recommendations to improve data gathering for key voluntary disclosures. • Help prepare for internal and external meetings, events, workshops, and conferences including drafting briefing documents to ensure our teams are prepared. • Communicate deadlines, events, updates, and other internship-related information to associates using internal communication platform and other tools. Education Requirements: Currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Political Science, Environmental Management, Sustainability or related discipline with a final graduation date no earlier than December 2025. Functional Skills: • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to clearly communicate complex issues. • Ability to manage and process large data sets. • Detail oriented. • Ability to work cross functionally with a geographically spread, culturally diverse team, stakeholders and partners. • Passionate about sustainability issues with an aptitude to learn quickly. • Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills. Education Requirements • Currently pursuing a Master’s and not graduating before December 2025.
