Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and seasoned Project Manager to join our dedicated team, focused on providing transformative solutions for our federal clientele, especially within the IRS. In this essential role, you will be responsible for steering projects and leading a team towards success, while ensuring we meet client goals with precision and excellence. Your daily activities will include managing team dynamics, collaborating closely with clients to comprehend their requirements, devising strategies to address those needs, and employing both quantitative and qualitative analyses to tackle challenges and implement solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Client Engagement: Facilitate all facets of client interactions, from the formulation of project strategies to the preparation of final deliverables.
• Team Oversight: Lead and supervise the project team, ensuring that tasks remain on schedule and key milestones are achieved.
• Stakeholder Communication: Organize and direct meetings with IT stakeholders to guarantee effective communication and collaboration.
• Assessment & Roadmap Development: Analyze the organizational roadmap and assist in crafting the workflow for forms modernization, alongside long-term management and enhancements.
• Risk & Success Metrics: Identify success criteria and potential risks, evaluate the effectiveness of modernized forms, and establish project baselines.
• Data Analysis: Conduct comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analyses to discern trends, identify opportunities, and produce actionable insights.
• Thought Leadership: Contribute to the formulation of recommendations and solutions based on your analyses.
• Relationship Building: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met while proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with small project teams to deliver innovative and practical solutions and foster a collegial environment.

Required Skills
• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) is essential, with a solid academic foundation.
• Experience: 3-7 years of pertinent experience, preferably in federal government services or with the IRS.
• Specialized Knowledge: Familiarity with IRS digitalization initiatives and IRS publishing operations is advantageous.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical and quantitative capabilities to creatively and strategically approach challenges.
• Team-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within teams under tight deadlines.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to synthesize and present complex information clearly.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical software tools.
• Initiative & Growth: A self-motivated individual with a proactive mindset and a desire for personal and professional development.

Compensation And Benefits • Salary Range: (90,000 - )165,000, commensurate with experience. • Travel Requirements: Minimal travel anticipated (0-10%), with possible occasional increases based on business needs. • Position Type: Full-time, exempt, with a hybrid work schedule. • Physical Requirements: Occasional light lifting of items up to 15 pounds; primarily sedentary work.
