Modmed is hiring a driven Senior .NET Software Engineer to design and develop full-stack applications that leverage Microsoft .NET and cloud native architectures. This is an exciting opportunity to own technical planning and implementation of new application features and capabilities while driving the development of features that will revolutionize the healthcare industry.

Your Role:
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle.
• Design and implement new features, translating product requirements and specifications into a functional application, including user interface, business logic, and data access development.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to solve technical challenges and improve the collective knowledge of the team.
• Possess a strong commitment to quality, architecture, and documentation.

Skills & Requirements: • Demonstrated knowledge of software application development required. Will consider experience and certificates in lieu of a degree. • 5+ years experience in software development in any programming language or platform. • 5+ years experience in developing .NET applications. • Proven experience in building enterprise-level web applications. • Strong Object Oriented design and development background. • Experience programming in C# with both .NET (Core) and .NET Framework. • Advanced JavaScript experience (closures, prototype inheritance, etc.). • Solid understanding of Web Standards (XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, APIs, Web Services, etc). • SQL proficiency (DDL and DML). • Demonstrated use and knowledge of design patterns and cloud native technologies. • Strong communication skills. • Advanced problem-solving skills. • A high commitment to quality. • Experience with Agile methodologies or related iterative development processes are a plus. • Experience with test-driven development is a strong plus.
