Day to Day
The Director, Executive and Global Compensation is a credible, critical member of the Total Rewards Leadership team. The role is responsible for global broad-based strategy, design, communications, and governance of Indeed’s compensation programs. Partners with key stakeholders to ensure a pay for performance strategy design that aligns to business goals and goals globally.
The Director will also drive the strategy, design, and implementation of executive compensation programs, including base pay, short-term incentive programs, long-term incentive structures, and executive programs. This position is accountable for the design and implementation of compensation programs for the top executives, and all long-term incentive participants globally.This position will report directly to the Senior Director of Total Rewards
Responsibilities
• Drive Indeed's global compensation strategy by aligning with the Leadership Team and guiding the compensation team to execute priorities.
• Contribute to a pay-for-performance strategy that aligns with business goals, regularly updating the salary structure.
• Consult leadership on salary adjustments and partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business functions to align spending and budgets.
• Partner with the Head of Total Rewards to prioritize ad-hoc requests and urgent situations
• Coach and mentor a team of three compensation partners/analysts, fostering professional growth.
• For Executive Compensation:
• Provide expertise on executive compensation strategy, compliance, and design.
• Partner with HR and business partners to shape programs driving sustainable growth.
• Prepare compensation presentations utilizing benchmark compensation levels while ensuring compliance in public filings.
• Stay updated on executive compensation regulations and develop clear communications for plan participants.
Skills/Competencies
• 10+ years of functional experience in designing and managing executive, equity, and broad-based compensation programs on a global basis.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Outstanding written and verbal communications skills, summarizing complex topics for senior leadership.
• Question or challenge the status quo or other proposals under consideration.
• Data driven, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Partnering with other groups including HR, Finance, Legal, and Communications.building relationships, gaining credibility, and partnering with people across the organization and Influencing outcomes when others are directly accountable.
Salary Range Transparency
US Remote 170,000 - 240,000 USD per year

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
