About the Role
As a Phone and Chat Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for verifying the credentials of nurses who have selected a healthcare facility to work with. You will navigate our online systems to confirm the validity of their credentials and follow up with them via written messages to ensure that all necessary information is accurate and up-to-date. Additionally, you will handle inbound and outbound calls, responding to queries from nurses and healthcare facilities regarding shift assignments and credential verification. Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will be essential in providing top-notch support to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely and efficient manner
- Handle multiple chat channels simultaneously, responding to customer queries and resolving issues promptly
- Follow established communication scripts when addressing different topics, ensuring consistency and accuracy in our responses
- Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research, and provide solutions or alternatives as required
- Access company and client resources to accurately handle calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Perform data entry and customer service tasks with precision and attention to detail

- Work on requests and records received from nurses requesting to sign up for shifts, ensuring that all necessary credentials are in place
- Remain positive, professional, and composed in all customer interactions, even in challenging situations
- Be available at your desk, maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, and be flexible to cross-train as requested
Qualifications and Skills
To succeed as a Phone and Chat Specialist at blithequark, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- At least 1 year of customer service or customer support experience, preferably in a call center or office environment
- Technical savvy, with the ability to navigate online systems and learn new software applications quickly

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a starting hourly rate of $14, plus shift differentials for nights and weekends. You will also be eligible for a possible increase after 90 days, pending attendance and performance. Our benefits package includes paid training, which is 3 weeks in length, and you will have the opportunity to work a full-time schedule with a rotating weekend shift.
