Job Overview
As a blithequark Locker+ Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Locker+ locations, providing top-notch service to our customers, and working collaboratively with your team to drive success. Your role will involve receiving, picking, and stowing customer orders, processing returns, and preparing packages for delivery. You will also be the primary point of contact for customers, addressing their questions, concerns, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, pick, and stow customer orders, process returns, and prepare packages for delivery
- Assist customers with questions, concerns, and issues, providing personalized support and resolving problems in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to blithequark's high standards of quality and safety
- Manage responsibilities for a Locker+ location, including opening and closing the site, and ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently
- Utilize technology, such as smartphones and handheld devices, to sort, scan, and prepare orders, and to stay up-to-date with the latest developments and updates
- Receive truck deliveries, and ensure that all packages are handled and processed correctly
Physical and Environmental Requirements
As a blithequark Locker+ Customer Service Associate, you will be required to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. You will also need to stand and walk during shifts lasting up to five hours, with or without reasonable accommodation. Additionally, you may need to use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around, and go up and down stairs (where applicable).
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management. You will also need to be highly organized, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Candidates must be 18 years or older, with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines in English
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous customer service experience preferred, but not essential
- Ability to work in a team environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and mutual support
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process and handle customer orders and returns
