About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Customer Service Representative to join our team in Connecticut. As a Senior Customer Service Representative, you will be an integral part of our vision to deliver exceptional patient support and drive healthcare excellence. You will have the opportunity to work alongside talented peers in a collaborative environment, leveraging the clinical resources, data, and support of a global organization to help patients live healthier lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Place outreach calls to eligible members and schedule appointments with our healthcare professionals at various locations within the organization, under the direction of the Program Manager.
  • Provide compassionate and exceptional support to patient inquiries related to our programs and services, meeting metrics of 50-80 outbound calls daily.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and retrieve voicemails from patients, identifying the type of assistance the customer needs and providing timely resolution.
  • Own problems through to resolution on behalf of the patient in real-time or through comprehensive and timely follow-up, ensuring that every patient interaction is handled with empathy and professionalism.
  • Research complex issues across multiple databases and work with support resources to resolve customer issues, partnering with others to resolve escalated issues and ensure seamless resolution.
  • Meet performance goals established for the position in areas such as call metrics, quality, patient satisfaction, and attendance, consistently striving for excellence and continuous improvement.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED or 10+ years of equivalent working experience.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 1+ years of Customer Service Representative (CSR) experience or 1+ years of experience in an office setting, call center setting, or phone support role.
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications.
  • Ability to work within our regular business hours, which are from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm or 9:00 am - 5:30 pm EST, Monday - Friday.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a healthcare or medical setting, with knowledge of healthcare terminology and concepts.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to multi-task duties and understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product.
  • Ability to work regularly scheduled shifts within our hours of operation, including the training period, with flexibility to adjust daily schedule and work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivated, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly range of $16.88 to $33.22 per hour, based on full-time employment.
