Key Responsibilities

As a Part Time Accounting Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will be responsible for a range of duties that are essential to our financial management and compliance. These include:

  • Maintaining accurate accounting records using QuickBooks online, ensuring that all financial transactions are properly documented and up-to-date.
  • Performing general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
  • Conducting account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial data, providing assurance that our financial statements are reliable and trustworthy.
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations on a regular basis, ensuring that our financial position is accurately reflected and reported.
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, cash flow statements, and other documentation as needed, providing valuable insights and information to support our decision-making processes.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role within accounting, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and tax regulations, ensuring that you can navigate the complexities of payroll and tax compliance with ease and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks online, with the ability to efficiently and effectively use this software to manage our financial records and transactions.
  • Experience with general ledger reconciliation and accounts receivable management, demonstrating your ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
