Job Overview

In this remote national role, you will be responsible for handling customer calls, addressing concerns, and providing timely solutions to issues. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our health plan members, ensuring that every interaction is personalized, empathetic, and informative. Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer calls, emails, or chats in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues and addressing concerns in a timely and effective way
  • Provide accurate and informative responses to customer inquiries, ensuring that members have a clear understanding of our health plan products and services
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, escalating cases to senior representatives or other departments as needed
  • Document customer interactions, maintaining accurate and detailed records of conversations, issues, and resolutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless communication and coordination

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or health insurance setting
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to empathize with customers and provide personalized support
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and develop creative solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
