Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, pick, and stow customer orders, process returns, and prepare packages for delivery, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
  • Assist customers with their queries, providing clear and concise information, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work through problem-solving scenarios for customers, utilizing critical thinking and effective communication skills to find solutions.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to blithequark's high standards of quality and safety.
  • Manage responsibilities for a Locker+ location, including opening and closing the site, and ensuring that all operations run smoothly.
  • Utilize technology such as smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders, staying up-to-date with the latest systems and processes.
  • Receive truck deliveries, verifying the accuracy of shipments and ensuring that all items are properly stored and secured.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation, and standing and walking during shifts lasting up to five hours.
  • Ability to use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around, and to go up and down stairs (where applicable).
  • Availability to work part-time between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., with schedules varying week to week.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems and technology.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Previous experience in customer service, logistics, or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
