Job Summary

As a Customer Service Claims Specialist at blithequark, you will play a critical role in our claims department, responsible for answering internal and external phone and email inquiries, and providing information and explanations on various levels of contract coverage and terms. You will be the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring that their queries are addressed promptly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze information in Vehicle Service Contract and claims system to advise customers of the appropriate benefit amounts.
  • Request and distribute internal information to aid Claims Adjudication Department.
  • Answer phone and email inquiries and provide information and explanations on the various levels of contract coverage, and claims processes.
  • Manage work-flow, process, and complete all requests and documents according to established procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives, working effectively in a friendly team environment.
  • Interact and communicate with management and co-workers in a visible manner, utilizing camera usage for training, team meetings, and meetings with management.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Key to Success

To excel in this role, you will need to possess a combination of skills, qualifications, and personal qualities that enable you to deliver exceptional customer service and support. These include:

  • Minimum High School graduate or GED is Required.
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills, with the ability to problem-solve and multi-task, and a high level of accuracy in data entry skills.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, demonstrating discretion and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with contract holders, agents, dealers, internal staff/upper management, and customers.
  • Proficient working on a PC, with a working knowledge of MS Office, and the ability to learn new programs quickly, type at least 35 wpm, and document information while discussing the claim over the phone.
  • Automotive Service Dept. experience preferred, with Warranty Administrators, BDC Representatives, Automotive Cashier/Receptionist, Service Writers also encouraged to apply.
