What you’ll do
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy in financial reporting
• Utilize accounting software such as AppFolio to streamline financial operations
• Perform cash flow analysis and budgeting to support strategic decision-making
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret financial reports and provide insights for operational improvements
Basic qualifications
• Strong understanding of financial concepts, including double-entry bookkeeping and accrual accounting
Preferred qualifications
• Experience with Property Management Accounting and software
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and securities law principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for advanced data analysis and reporting tasks
