As a Senior Project Manager, you are responsible for the management of multiple Construction Projects and/or Customers. You’ll work closely with the Customer(s) to complete all Operational requirements of varying size and scope. You’ll direct Assistant Project Managers, Project Managers (I, II, III), Superintendents and craft personnel to promote and ensure safe work practice and conditions. Accountable for managing budgets, the operation’s P&L, and updating WIPs monthly. The salary range is $130,000.00 - $160,000.00. Benefits: • Competitive Compensation Package • Paid Time Off • Company sponsored Healthcare Plan including Medical, Dental & Vision Coverage • HSA Account with Company Contribution • 401k Retirement Plan with Company Match • Profit Sharing • Accident & Critical Illness Insurance • Student Loan Payment & 529 College Saving Program • Company Paid: • Life & AD&D Insurance • Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Insurance • Identity Theft Protection • Employee Assistance Program Responsibilities: • Manages large and/or multi-discipline projects from start to finish ensuring customer specifications, objectives, timelines and budgets are met. • Liaisons with the Customer on a regular basis to provide progress updates, exchange ideas, answer questions, and meet the Customer’s expectations in every way • Oversees the projects and various project team members, providing direction, leadership, mentoring, and day-to-day management support in accordance with project priorities. • Manages the projects onsite to monitor the development of the project, safety, and quality control to ensure all periodic milestones and cost elements are met • Maintains oversight of applicable project documentation including samples, plans and specifications, contracts, change orders and pricing changes, etc. to ensure project remains on course with most up-to-date specifications • Analyzes progress reports, cost to complete, and other weekly and/or month-end supporting documentation to ensure specifications and expenses fall within the prescribed guidelines • Oversees project invoicing, including timesheets, resources and material allocations, expenses, and accounts receivable collections to verify proper billing processes are followed and budgets remain in-line • Facilitates client walk-through(s) of project sites to maintain Customer satisfaction • Administers high-quality, timely and excellent customer service to promote the organization as an industry leader • Manage complex high-voltage overhead transmission projects ($5M–$100M+), ensuring alignment with customer objectives, technical requirements, and budgetary goals • Direct multi-disciplinary project teams, including project engineers, superintendents, and union craft personnel • Serve as the primary liaison with utility customers, subcontractors, and internal departments • Review project estimates, risk profiles, schedules, and contract requirements; ensure complete understanding and execution strategy • Monitor project progress, safety performance, quality control, cost tracking, and schedule compliance • Drive execution excellence through strong leadership, timely decision-making, and proactive issue resolution • Lead weekly project reviews and develop forecasts for labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor activities • Oversee change management, billing, cash flow, and client invoicing processes • Ensure timely project close-out, including punch list completion, lessons learned documentation, and final billing • Travel as required throughout the Northeast regions Education, Skills, Experience Needed: • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) • 10+ years of progressive project management experience in the overhead utility transmission sector • OSHA 30-hour certification preferred • PMP certification a plus • Deep knowledge of high-voltage transmission construction practices, safety standards, environmental controls, and union labor coordination • Experience managing subcontractors and material vendors; ability to review and negotiate contracts and scopes • Strong planning, scheduling (Primavera P6 preferred), and cost control capabilities • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and lead teams at all levels • Must be willing to travel up to 50%, including extended stays on project sites throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic • Project site conditions may include rough terrain, inclement weather, and proximity to high-voltage equipment This job description is subject to change at any time.
