Job Overview

In this critical role, you will be responsible for supporting the Customer Service & E-Commerce programs at your assigned store, focusing on driving safety, quality of outbound online orders, excellent pickup experience, team productivity, and program execution. You will lead processes supporting the checkout experience and grocery delivery & pickup, monitor key performance indicator metrics and visual cues in-store to assess the Team’s performance, and ensure adherence to all applicable health and safety regulations. As a Supervisor, you will also support the Team Leader in leading and developing Team Members, promoting blithequark core values, Leadership Principles, and goals, and ensuring a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer experience and hold all Team Members accountable for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Establish clear expectations for balancing in-store customer service and completing online orders
  • Monitor in-store and online customer flow, assigning customer service-related and online order completion tasks to balance the needs of all customers
  • Seek awareness of relevant competitors and industry trends to stay ahead of the curve
  • Ensure an effective and efficient response to customer questions, requests, and/or concerns
  • Support collaborative and productive relationships with departmental leaders, store leadership, and 1P/3P partners
  • Foster and encourage a positive environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale
  • Maintain Team Member safety and security standards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory rules and standards
  • Develop, coach, mentor, and motivate Team Members to sustain a high-performing Team and minimize turnover
  • Maintain cleanliness of workspaces, including staging areas and coolers, and ensure security of equipment
  • Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and consistently communicate and model blithequark core values, leadership principles, and support goals

Essential Qualifications

  • 12+ months of retail experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and driving operational excellence
  • Ability to perform task management, balancing dynamic customer flows, and strong analysis skills to root cause underperformance
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills, with the ability to teach others in a positive and constructive manner
  • Proficient with email, Microsoft Office, and operations-related applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in e-commerce, customer service, or a related field, with a deep understanding of the retail industry and its trends
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop Team Members
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

At blithequark, we offer a competitive compensation package, including a hourly wage range of $18.00 - $24.10, commensurate with experience.
