About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, responding to their queries, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading airline and be part of a team that is shaping the future of the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to blithequark customers, responding to their queries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with colleagues, data scientists, and ML engineers to drive data-driven insights and innovation
  • Design and enable key subsystems of the Data Platform, optimize operational key metrics, and establish processes and best practices
  • Work with innovative cloud technologies from AWS and other ecosystems, including but not limited to Airflow, OpenTelemetry, OpenLineage, Marquez, Great Expectations, and others
  • Participate and lead in the design and development of creative batch and streaming data applications using AWS technologies
  • Support large-scale data pipelines in a distributed and scalable environment, and optimize production AWS environment for data infrastructure and frameworks
  • Set up containers and Serverless platform with cloud infrastructure
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to the team, and guide them in resolving questions/issues

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following essential qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of professional experience
  • 4+ years of professional experience managing infrastructure and data pipelines using Cloud Solution, Terraform, PySpark, Airflow, or similar technologies
  • 2+ years of experience leading a team that designs, develops, or supports solutions on AWS
  • Working knowledge of common AWS technologies - EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, Glue, SNS, others
  • General familiarity with other AWS technologies
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD tools, SQL, Python, Spark, Version control system, JIRA
  • Hands-on experience with any object-oriented programming language
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will give you a competitive edge:

  • AWS Certification - Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or similar
  • Experience with Data Quality tools - Great Expectations, Deequ, or similar
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with Linux operating system or Windows
