Responsibilities

As a Technical Support Representative, you will be responsible for providing front-line, first-level technical assistance to consumers, supporting client-specific high-speed internet services, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical assistance for consumers, including troubleshooting and issue resolution assistance with client service and/or devices specific issues
  • Supporting customer needs related to client-specific high-speed internet services and/or devices, including troubleshooting, triage, and additional required resolution techniques
  • Delivering in-scope support for internet service and connectivity-related issues pertaining to operating system, PC, and browser configuration
  • Demonstrating advanced product knowledge and the ability to solve customer issues
  • Resolving customer issues on the first call as frequently as possible
  • Opening and managing trouble ticket systems for user issues, data network, OS issues
  • Being patient, courteous, and friendly with customers at all times
  • Demonstrating a positive attitude
  • Addressing and solving technical problems in a timely manner and completing all work assignments within expected time frames
  • Adhering to all work schedule assignments
  • Abiding by and supporting management directives and adhering to all Teleperformance policies

Qualifications

  • Be over 18 years of age
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Be comfortable with desktop computer systems
  • Have proven oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with personal computers, operating systems, software, and computer terminology
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task

Work from Home Requirements

To work from home, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Internet Connection Requirements:
    • Minimum subscribed download rate equal to or exceeds 12.0 Mbps
    • Minimum subscribed upload rate equal to or exceeds 3.0 Mbps
    • ISP must have no packet loss and ping under 50ms
    • Proof of internet speed required
  • Clean and quiet workspace
