**Job Summary**
As a Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will work as an extended business office representative on behalf of our clients, providing exceptional customer service and support to patients and their families. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Using empathy and fantastic listening, verbal, and written communication skills to help patients and their families understand confusing and often unexpected medical bills.
* Providing outstanding customer service and collaborating with patients over the phone on affordable payment plans and taking payments by phone.
* Using your computer proficiency, organization, and attention to detail to accurately document all calls and follow-ups in our software systems throughout each day.
* Supporting your fellow team members with consistent attendance, excellent work ethic, and caring team focus.
* Continuously improving, with supportive coaching/feedback from your manager and team leads and ongoing training.
**What You'll Need**
* 1-2 years of experience in customer service, healthcare, or a related field.
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
* Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
* Proficiency in computer software systems, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
