As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:- Working with large, messy, disparate datasets and performing ad-hoc analyses to provide essential business decisions.
- Creating ETLs or strategies that pull data from multiple locations and centralize it in a single table.
- Developing data visualization to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges.
- Engaging with team members and cross-functional groups on a periodic basis and establishing credibility.
- Leveraging scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks for reporting (screenshots, metrics prioritization, and outlier recognition).
- Documenting your strategies and sharing your expertise with colleagues. Mentoring colleagues as you become a Subject Matter Expert.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:- Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to govern data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity (2-4 years of experience).
- Creativity with a User Experience basis to enhance impactful Tableau Dashboards (1-2 years of experience).
- Business Operations Fluency, with the ability to recognize and root out business problems. A Supply Chain background, ideally with transportation experience.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:- Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau.
- Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations.
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
- Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.
