Job Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Call Center Scheduler to join our fully remote team. As a Call Center Scheduler, you will be responsible for answering inbound patient scheduling calls, addressing concerns, and scheduling patients for procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound patient scheduling calls based on department service level goals and address concerns in a satisfactory manner.
- Communicate with patients to schedule, re-schedule, and/or cancel their appointment requests accurately by following practice scheduling protocols and tools.
- Accurately collect and perform data entry of all required patient demographic and insurance information.
- Use professional communication etiquette and listening skills to assist patients with their scheduling needs.
- Build a safe and trustworthy environment with patients by utilizing both scripted and non-scripted communication methods.
- De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied customers, offering patient assistance and support.
- Utilize and maneuver between several different software systems.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the documentation system.
- Assist with other projects as assigned by management.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- One year of previous call center or customer service experience required.
- Basic healthcare knowledge preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in using multiple software systems and technology.
Preferred Qualifications
