About the Role

As a Lead Pharmacy Technician in our Front End department, you will play a vital role in leading and supporting our team of pharmacy technicians, ensuring the delivery of outstanding customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our closed-door pharmacy. Day in the Life of a Lead Pharmacy Technician

A typical day in this role will involve a range of responsibilities, including:

  • Leading and supporting the front-end pharmacy technician team to ensure the efficient and accurate processing of orders, data entry, and customer service tasks
  • Collaborating with senior technicians to coordinate daily production, troubleshoot issues, and identify solutions to improve workflow and processes
  • Partnering with pharmacy leaders to develop and implement team training plans, and collaborating with field training teams as needed
  • Assisting in the orientation, training, and education of new team members, including programs for controlled substances in accordance with policies, procedures, state, and federal laws
  • Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
  • Certification, licensure, or registration as a pharmacy technician, or as required by state law
  • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the long-term care industry
  • PTCB National Certification

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive pay range for this role, with a minimum salary of $18.50 and a maximum salary of $34.60.
