Key Responsibilities

In this multifaceted position, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of human resources-related duties, including recruitment, benefit administration, and other functional areas. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing recruiting duties for open positions, such as initiating requisitions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating staffing needs.
  • Finding, engaging, and activating candidates on recruitment platforms, as well as maintaining an active presence in professional groups to develop a network of potential candidates and industry professionals.
  • Sending recruitment and follow-up communications (phone and email) with potential candidates, and ensuring that all interactions are professional, courteous, and responsive to their needs.
  • Maintaining HR policies and procedures, and ensuring that all employees are aware of and comply with these policies.
  • Administering pre-employment drug tests and background checks for all employees, and ensuring that all necessary paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Preparing and distributing offer letters and new hire paperwork for all new employees, and ensuring that the onboarding process is smooth, efficient, and welcoming.
  • Seeking clarification and obtaining missing information when necessary, before processing employee records, and responding to routine questions from employees and applicants in a timely and professional manner.
  • Focusing on providing a great candidate experience at every opportunity, through exceptional written and verbal communication, and ensuring that all interactions with candidates are positive, informative, and engaging.
  • Performing other related duties and assignments as required and upon request, and being flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Excellent fluent English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field, such as business administration, psychology, or sociology.
  • Prior knowledge of standard HR practices and recruitment, including experience with recruitment software, applicant tracking systems, and other HR technologies.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively to meet goals and objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and implement effective strategies to resolve issues.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and execute projects from start to finish, and ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field, such as human resources, recruitment, or talent management, and a proven track record of success in a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the essential qualifications, we are looking for candidates who possess the following preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in human resources, such as SHRM-CP or PHR, and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Experience with HR software, such as Workday, BambooHR, or ADP, and the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
  • Knowledge of employment law, including EEO, ADA, and other relevant regulations, and the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and effective way.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, managers, and other stakeholders, and provide exceptional customer service to all clients.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions, and a commitment to using data to drive business outcomes.
