In this role, you will be responsible for handling property and casualty (P&C) related customer service and billing inquiries via telephone. You will provide customers with plan coverage information, quotes, policy changes, and policy change impacts to premium. Key Responsibilities
- Contact policyholders through inbound/outbound telephone calls, direct mail, and email to review policies prior to renewal and update policies to enhance retention and better meet customer needs.
- Receive and respond to calls and emails, documenting all activity in our system and utilizing knowledge of the insurance industry and blithequark's policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service.
- Identify opportunities to apply discounts, process insurance verification forms, and act as a liaison for information exchange between customers and insurance companies.
- Process changes to policies, follow up with companies to ensure timely processing, and review policy information to assist insured in filing claims.
- Recognize cross-sell opportunities and obtain quote information to drive business growth.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and contribute to the company's success.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications

- A high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment.
- A Property and Casualty insurance license, with a Membership license preferred or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
