Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Reader Radiologist to join our collaborative team. As a Night Reader Radiologist, you will play a critical role in interpreting imaging from emergency departments and level 1 & 2 trauma centers, providing timely and accurate diagnoses to inform patient care. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and your ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret imaging from emergency departments and level 1 & 2 trauma centers, including CTAs for stroke patients
  • Read inpatient and stat outpatient exams, providing timely and accurate diagnoses
  • Act as a radiology consultant to all other physicians, providing expert guidance and support
  • Guide MRI and CT technicians with imaging and protocol questions, ensuring the highest quality of imaging services
  • Collaborate with our control center and on-site liaisons to expedite communication with referring physicians and ensure seamless patient care
  • Work closely with our team of radiologists, including one on-site radiologist covering Fluoro cases, to provide comprehensive radiology services

Essential Qualifications

  • ABR certification, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the field of radiology
  • Medical licensure/eligibility to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, ensuring your ability to provide care to our patients
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively with our team and referring physicians
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and managing your time efficiently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, allowing you to interpret complex imaging data and provide accurate diagnoses

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a similar role, preferably in a trauma center or emergency department setting
  • Ability to read MRI brain, although not required, this skill would be highly valued in our team
  • Familiarity with our PACS system and standardized equipment, although training will be provided to ensure your success
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiology
